Description of the material

The XXL Value Pack bundles all our clothes material for English lessons, from picture cards and posters to worksheets, games, and speaking cards centered around clothing. Use posters and word-picture cards to introduce the vocabulary, and the children can label, match, and read on the worksheets. In card, layout, and dice games, they can reinforce the vocabulary effortlessly. Speaking cards, a board game, and an explanation game get the children talking, and during a movement break, they can repeat the words while on the move. Many sheets are available with and without support, and solutions are included for most worksheets. This means you have everything you need for a whole unit for classes 1 to 6, from the very first words in primary school to free speaking.

  • Listening comprehension: match heard words to the correct picture
  • Reading: understand words and short English sentences about clothing
  • Writing: correctly write clothing words with and without a template
  • Speaking: answer questions about clothing and describe terms in English

Didactic and methodological notes

The clothing words follow British English, including jumper, trousers, and wellies. Some word lists go beyond everyday clothing; for younger classes, it is recommended to make a selection.
