Description of the material

Turn over two cards and hope that the word and picture match: With the Clothes Memo Game, the English clothing vocabulary in primary school becomes a memory game. Each pair consists of a word card and a picture card, so the children read the word and recognize the matching piece of clothing. Whoever finds a pair keeps it and gets to go again; in the end, the person who has collected the most pairs wins. Over 30 pairs range from the T-shirt to the evening dress. Quite incidentally, the children reinforce the words and train their memory.

This is included:

  • Word cards
  • Picture cards
  • Game instructions

Usage options in English lessons

The memo game can be used after introducing the clothing words or for revision. It is also suitable as a station in a station-based approach.
