Description of the material

These picture cards show the skateboard rules for physical education and various riding positions on a skateboard. With short "we" sentences and illustrations, children can understand what matters when skateboarding – from tying back their hair to parking their skateboards.

This is included in the material

  • Rule cards on clothing, hair and jewelry, as well as behavior while riding
  • Cards on riding positions, each with posture and propulsion
  • Heading cards for the rules and the riding positions

Tips for using the material

  • Riding together: When pushing from behind, one child can push another child who is sitting on the skateboard.
  • Parking area: A fixed parking area in the gym is a good idea, because skateboards that are not currently in use can be parked there.

These competencies are promoted

  • Awareness of rules when skateboarding, from appropriate clothing to handling the skateboard
  • Consideration for others, without collisions and without skateboards being thrown around
  • Coordination when riding in different positions

To complement the skateboarding unit, there is the skateboard license with station cards, games with the skateboard and general rules in physical education as picture cards.
