Description of the material

In the game Floppi, children take turns drawing picture cards with English autumn words such as owl, chestnut or umbrella from a bag and may keep any card whose term they name correctly. There are also Floppi cards mixed in with the picture cards, and anyone who draws one must put all the cards they have collected back into the bag.

  • 36 picture cards each with an autumn picture without a word

Tips for using the material

  • Location: The game can be played in a circle or directly at the regular seat while the teacher passes around the bag.
