Autumn / Fall: I have..., who has...? for English class

I have..., who has...? is a chain game for English lessons in which the children take turns asking for English autumn words such as pumpkin, hedgehog or raincoat. Whoever has the required picture on their card answers with “I have …” and then asks the next question themselves until the game reaches the final card.

• 36 game cards with a total of 35 autumn words, each featuring a picture and the question about the next word; the starting card contains only a question, the final card only a picture.

The game is ideal as a lesson starter, a way to end the lesson, or as a break between activities.

• Vocabulary related to autumn, from animals such as fox and woodpecker to weather such as wind and rain and clothing such as sweater.
• Listening comprehension, because with every question the children have to recognize whether the mentioned word matches their picture.
• Speaking using fixed sentence patterns with “I have …” and “Who has the …?”.
