Dice Relay Football Edition: Relay Race with Dribbling for Physical Education

The Dice Relay in the Football Edition is a relay race for physical education in which teams race to dribble the ball and roll the dice. One person from each team dribbles through the cones in a slalom, stops the ball in the hoop, and rolls the dice exactly once. If the number rolled is still available, it can be crossed off; if it has already been crossed off, there is no luck in this round. The ball then goes back to the starting line, where the next person receives it and starts dribbling. As soon as a team has crossed off all its numbers, the relay is decided.

Tips for using the material

• Against the clock: The relay can also be played with a fixed time limit. In that case, the team that has rolled the most numbers after five minutes wins.
• One template for two teams: As a variant, two teams can play on the same template using differently colored pens. The team that can cross off more numbers wins.

Organizational notes

For the game, you need the printed templates, pens, dice, cones, hoops, and footballs. The teams each line up behind the starting line, and the templates are placed on the ground or on a box at some distance.
