Description of the material
In this matching game, children take turns turning over cards and looking for pairs of English words related to cleaning, such as broom, sponge or vacuum cleaner, and the corresponding pictures.
The material includes
- 12 word cards and 12 picture cards to cut out, making 12 pairs in total
- Game instructions explaining how to play and the objective: whoever finds a pair keeps it and takes another turn, and the person with the most pairs at the end wins
These skills are developed
- Vocabulary: twelve English words related to cleaning, from cleaning cloth and plunger to bin bag
- Reading, because children find the corresponding picture for each written word
- Memory, because children remember where each card is located
