Description of the material

In this Vocabulary Quiz on the whiteboard, children practice English words for shapes such as square, kite, hexagon, or crescent. In the first quiz, after a short thinking time, the teacher counts down from three. When they reach zero, all the children hold up their answer card A, B, C, or D at the same time, and the correct answer is then revealed together.

Included in the material

  • Instruction slide explaining how the quiz works
  • Answer cards with the letters A, B, C, and D to print out
  • Quiz 1 with 20 questions, each presenting four English words to choose from for a given shape, followed by a slide revealing the correct answer
