Description of the material
The “Everyone who …” game in the Easter break edition is an active game centered around holiday experiences, designed to help primary school students get back into the swing of things after the Easter break. Anyone who has searched for Easter eggs, seen a bunny, or been to an Easter bonfire stands up and finds a free seat. This gets the group moving and allows the children to playfully share their holiday experiences with one another.
What is included
- Handout with the game idea and instructions on how to play
- “Everyone who …” cards featuring Easter break experiences, each with a matching illustration
- Overview showing all the statements at a glance
Tips for using the material
- In a circle of chairs or sitting in a circle: The game leader can read a statement from a card while one child stands in the middle and tries to secure a free seat when everyone changes places.
- New round: Once you have returned to your own seat, you cannot play again. Anyone who does not manage to secure a seat stays in the middle, and the game can continue for as long as you like.
- Variant: Instead of the game leader, the child in the middle can read the card or make up their own experience.
These skills are promoted
- Listening carefully and checking whether a statement applies to you
- Reaction and movement when standing up and looking for a free seat
- Reading and formulating “Everyone who …” statements in the variant
Other editions are available for the time after the summer holidays, after the autumn holidays, and after the winter holidays; the active game “Stand up if …” is also suitable for the same occasion.
