Description of the material

With these signs, you record your class's silence record in primary school. The empty fields are filled in with the longest time everyone was able to remain quiet.

This is included in the material

  • "Silence Record" signs with empty fields for the record time in minutes and seconds, optionally without a picture, with an hourglass, or with a stopwatch, and in beige, blue, yellow, and gray
  • Handout with a brief description of the ritual and a tip for preparing the signs

Tips for using the material

  • Work phases: During certain work phases, the children can try together to work quietly and stay focused for as long as possible.
  • Beating the record: The achieved time can be entered on the sign, and the children can try to gradually beat the previous record.
