Party: Matching Circle (English)

A matching circle is a creative and hands-on method to reinforce vocabulary in language lessons in a playful way. The children actively engage with new words by matching the appropriate terms and images to one another. This not only helps them review the vocabulary but also deepen their understanding of it in context.

You can simply print, laminate, and cut out the template. You will receive the material as a PDF and PowerPoint file.

Instructions:

1. Place all the cards (e.g., word – image – description) randomly on the floor or a large table.
2. The children work individually, in pairs, or in small groups. The goal is to match the appropriate cards to form complete sets and arrange them in a circle.
3. Once all the matches have been checked, the completed matching circle can be discussed together.
