Halloween: Running Dictation (English)

A running dictation is an interactive and exciting method for practicing vocabulary. The goal is to memorize words and then write them down correctly.

Instructions:

1. Choose the vocabulary words to be practiced. Hang the cards in different places around the classroom. Then, each child receives a worksheet on which the vocabulary words are to be written.
2. At the teacher's signal, all children quietly sneak to a card, read it, and try to remember the vocabulary word.
3. Then they quietly return to their seat and write the vocabulary word down correctly.
4. After that, they go to the next card.
5. The exercise ends when all children have written down all the words.

Rules:

• Nothing may be copied.
• No one may speak or read aloud.
• Everyone works at their own pace.
