Garden / Garten: Don’t say it! (English)

This charades-style game is ideal for expanding vocabulary, encouraging communication in a fun way, and stimulating creative thinking.

Instructions:

1. Before starting the game, print out the cards, cut them out, and laminate them if necessary.
2. Divide the class into 2 or 3 teams.
3. One team member comes to the front and describes the term on the card without using the “forbidden” words. Gestures, variations of the word, and translations are not allowed during the description.
4. The rest of the team tries to guess the word.
5. If the team guesses the word before time runs out, they earn a point.
6. After one minute, the round ends and it is the other team’s turn.
7. The team with the most points after a predetermined number of rounds wins.
