Easter / Ostern: Floppi (English)

The game “Floppi” is ideal for reviewing vocabulary in class in a fun way. It can be played, for example, in a circle or directly at the students’ regular seats. In addition to skill, luck also plays a major role in the game. Have fun trying it out!

Instructions:

Place the cut-out (and laminated) cards in a bag.
The teacher carries the bag around the circle.
The learners take turns drawing one card each. Whoever correctly names the term on the card may keep it. Whoever cannot or incorrectly names the term must put the card back in the bag.
If someone draws a “Floppi card,” they must put all their collected cards back in the bag.
The person who has collected the most cards at the end wins. Alternatively, the game can be limited to a set time or ended by the teacher if there is no natural conclusion.
