Bedroom / Schlafzimmer: Drawing Game (English)

The game can be used in class to playfully review vocabulary that has already been learned. It is suitable as a warm-up, a lesson closer, or for substitute lessons.

Instructions:

1. Divide the class into two teams. Cut out the cards with the terms and place them face down in a stack. Prepare a timer and a pen.
2. One team starts and chooses a person to draw first. They come to the front of the class to the blackboard or whiteboard.
3. At the signal to start, the person flips over a card and begins to draw the term. They have 1 minute and are not allowed to speak or write. The other team members try to guess and say the term.
4. If the team guesses the term, they get a point. The person drawing at the front can try to draw more terms and earn more points together with the team.
5. When the minute is up, it is the other team's turn.
6. The team with more points after a predetermined number of rounds wins the game.
