Description of the material

With this bingo game, children review English words related to baking such as flour, butter, rolling pin or whisk. One by one, a child draws a bingo card and says the vocabulary word, while the others check if the picture is on their bingo sheet and cross off the square – the first person to cross off all their squares wins.

The following materials are included

  • Game instructions for small groups of 2 to 6 children
  • 36 bingo cards, each with a picture of baking ingredients, fruit or kitchen utensils
  • 6 bingo sheets, each with 6 pictures, together featuring all 36 pictures
  • Vocabulary list with the 36 English words corresponding to the pictures

The following skills are promoted

  • Vocabulary: recall and recognize English words related to baking from pictures
  • Speaking and listening: say the word for the drawn card and match the words heard to the pictures on the bingo sheet
