Animal Body Parts: Vocabulary Game (English)

This vocabulary game helps expand vocabulary and improve pronunciation. It encourages language practice in a relaxed and motivating atmosphere and can be used flexibly, for example in a station-based activity.

You will receive the game template as PDF, PowerPoint, and Keynote files and can customize it as needed.

How do you play?

  1. All game pieces are placed on the "Start" space.
  2. The first person rolls the dice and moves their game piece forward the corresponding number of spaces. If the piece lands on a space with a picture, the term must be named: If the term is named correctly, the piece stays on the space. If the term is named incorrectly, the piece moves back one space. On an event space, the following applies:
    • +1 or +2 spaces: Move forward the specified number of spaces.
    • -1 or -2 spaces: Move backward the specified number of spaces.
    • "Skip a turn!": Skip one turn.
    • Dice symbol: Roll again.
  3. Then it is the next person's turn.
  4. The game ends as soon as one person reaches the last space. That person wins the game.
