Raffle tickets for group formation: Number cards for dividing into groups

These numbered lot cards are designed for random group formation in the classroom. Learners can draw a card and find everyone who has the same number – this forms the teams for the next exercise or game.

What is included in the material

Tips for using the material

• Drawing from a bag or off the floor: The cards can be thoroughly mixed in a bag or laid face down on the floor.
• Marking meeting points: The large team cards can be used to show where the individual teams should gather.

• Recognizing and matching numbers, when learners match the number they have drawn to the correct team

Organizational notes

Only the pages needed for the desired teams should be printed. Printed on thicker paper or laminated, the cards will last longer and can be used repeatedly in class.
