2026 World Cup: Classroom Garland

Get your classroom ready for the 2026 World Cup! With this craft garland, you and your students can create a great decoration together. They will color in various motifs and flags, carefully cut them out, and assemble a colorful garland that will instantly create a World Cup atmosphere.

It's as easy as this:

• First, give each child a motif or flag.

• Your students color in the templates. They can either research them themselves or the flags can be shown on the board.

• Next, they cut out the motifs carefully along the outer lines. This promotes fine motor skills and concentration.

• Now they apply some glue to the small tab at the top of the motif. Make sure not to use too much glue.

• Carefully place a ribbon or string on the glue tab.

• Fold the tab over and press it firmly so that the motif holds securely to the ribbon.

• Repeat these steps for all motifs. Your unique World Cup garland is now finished and ready to hang!

What your students will learn:

• Fine motor skills and dexterity: By precisely coloring, cutting out, and gluing, they train their fine motor skills.

• Concentration and accuracy: Working carefully on the details trains their attention.

• Following instructions: They practice following instructions step by step and successfully completing a project.
