Zoo Animals: Vocabulary Stealth Dictation (Teaching Material for DaZ, DaF, and German Lessons)

A stealth dictation is an interactive and exciting method for practicing vocabulary. The goal is to memorize words and then write them down correctly.

Instructions:

1. Select the vocabulary words to be practiced. Hang the cards in different places around the classroom. Then, each child receives a worksheet on which the vocabulary words are to be written.
2. At the teacher's signal, all children quietly sneak to a card, read it, and try to memorize the vocabulary word.
3. Then they quietly return to their seats and write the vocabulary word down correctly.
4. Next, they move on to the next card.
5. The exercise ends when all children have written down all the words.

Rules:

• No copying is allowed.
• No one may speak or read aloud.
• Everyone works at their own pace.
