Description of the material

Beach Bingo (Game for ESL, EFL and German lessons)

Bingo is not only fun, but also ideal for reviewing vocabulary in a playful way.

Instructions:

Place the cut-out (and laminated) vocabulary cards in a bag.
Each child receives a bingo card.
A child is chosen to come to the front, draw a vocabulary card and read the word aloud.
The other children listen carefully and check their bingo card to see if they have the word. If the word is on the bingo card, they cross off the square.
Then the next card is drawn.
If a child has crossed off an entire row, column or diagonal, they must shout “Bingo!” as quickly as possible. If all the squares have been correctly crossed off, the child wins.

Quick version:

The teacher simply prints out the template and reads out the words at random. The children cross off the squares.
